The Department intends to make a single award for work to be performed within each of the five (5) Functional Area/Region listed below.  Bidders may bid on one, some, or all five functional areas/regions (Western region, Greater Baltimore region, Southern region, Eastern Shore region, and Greater Washington, DC Metro region).  The Department will make one award in each Functional Area to the lowest responsive bid submitted by a responsible Bidder for that Functional Area.  See IFB Section 4.9 Award Basis for more Contract award information.  The Contractor will be responsible for servicing all counties in the Functional Area.   

The City of New Carrollton is seeking proposals from qualified parking consultants to provide recommendations for various parking policies and programs within the City of New Carrollton. The consultant will be responsible for assessing the current parking situation, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions to enhance the overall parking experience for residents and visitors. This list is just some examples; we expect consultant to use expertise to provide solutions as well) • Slowing traffic speeds. • One-way streets or narrowing of streets that could enable expanding tree boxes to enable planting larger shade trees and/or installing bike lanes. • Encouraging walking/biking over cars. • Curb bump outs to narrow streets (to slow speeds) and capture stormwater. • Traffic patterns that make sense in light of regional traffic patterns yet cuts down on speeding/cut throughs through town. • Streetlighting that is better for insects/night sky but that also ensures safety. 

The City of Hagerstown (“City”) is issuing this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) from qualified multi- disciplinary consultants to develop a five-year Consolidated Plan (Con Plan) for the City of Hagerstown which will encompass Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME Investment Partnerships Program Years (PY) 2025-2029.

The renovation of Duvall Field will include the construction of a bandshell and event lawn, athletic fields, multi-use courts, fitness stations, perimeter walking trails, basketball court, bocce court, playground bleachers, lighting and storm water management facilities.

Arts for All (AfA) is a Campus-wide Presidential initiative for the University of Maryland College Park. It collaborates the Arts with the Sciences, Technology and other disciplines to develop new and reimagined curricular and experiential offerings that nurture different ways of thinking to spark dialogue, understanding, problem solving and action.  We are seeking a contractor for website redesign and implementation.

The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is for the University of Maryland, College Park (herein referred to as the University of UMCP) to select one or more on-call Contractor(s) to provide all labor, materials equipment and supervision for projects on and “as needed basis” for planned and emergency plumbing projects up to $200,000.00 for the University of Maryland College Park and its Service Center locations limited to UMCP and USM Service Centers area. For purposes of this procurement and the resulting contracts, the meaning of “on-call” is as follows: The Contractor (s) are to be available (on call) as projects arise to provide construction services for UMCP; the University cannot, however, forecast what the frequency of use will be.

The Department is issuing this solicitation to adhere to the federal Constitution and the consent decree in Carter v. Kamka, Civil Action No. AMD-72-642, requiring the State of Maryland to provide incarcerated individuals with access to the courts in cases concerning conditions of confinement, sentence calculations, and litigation of basic constitutional rights under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. To that end, the Department is requesting proposals to provide legal assistance to incarcerated individuals in the Department’s custody. 

The Office is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to select one insurance broker to represent the State’s insurance needs in the areas of Blanket Travel/Accident and Athletic Participants Accident Coverages. The selected insurance broker will market, manage and service the existing coverages, as well as any coverages added in the future, present the Office with competitive quotes and recommendations, place the coverage, and service the coverage each year.

The M&T Bank Stadium Renovations Project Package 10 is an early release package for the renovation work at the stadium. Gilbane Building Company, in its role as Construction Manager, invites interested Trade Contractors to bid on the following bid packages:

The Maryland State Retirement Agency is distributing this RFI to firms wishing to license and provide related services to the System for interactive software or a similar technology portal that provides a Private Market investment database with qualitative and quantitative analysis capabilities.

The objective of this contract is to provide the college with laundry services for the residence halls that is reasonably priced and customer service oriented. The program must offer an attractive and comfortable laundry room environments with quality, well-maintained equipment.

This RFP does not attempt to define/detail all the Contract needs, rather, it is flexible and allows for the credentials of the Offeror to be demonstrated in the areas of expertise necessary to support the real estate programs of the MAA. The services needed to satisfy the purpose of this RFP include, but are not limited to, those summarized below. These services will be performed consistent with FAA and COMAR requirements and associated MDOT procedures. Refer to Sections III and IV of this RFP for additional details regarding project services and preferred Offeror qualifications and experience.

• Property and Land Use Planning – to include research and recommendations on real estate market conditions and trends, area-wide land use and zoning, and the highest and best use of airport property holdings
• Real Estate Actions – to include managing the appraisal, acquisition, and disposal of State owned, airport property interests (fee simple and easement)
• Ongoing Management of Property Holdings – to include assistance with property demolition plans, updating property holding databases, and coordination of property maintenance activities
• Periodic preparation and update of the BWI Marshall Noise Land Inventory & Reuse Plan in accordance with FAA Grant Assurance #31 and the Exhibit “A” Airport Property Map.
• Other Services – to include on-site staff support in MAA offices as may be necessary, preparation of metes-and-bounds surveys and associated plats, and appraisal services to determine the fair market values of properties near BWI Marshall and Martin State Airports.

The Department of General Services is issuing this Multi-Step Invitation for Bids (MS-IFB) for the retail supply of electricity to accounts for designated State agencies, the University System of Maryland, and several eligible non-State entities.
