Bidders may bid on one, some, or all five functional areas/regions (Western region, Greater Baltimore region, Southern region, Eastern Shore region, and Greater Washington, DC Metro region). The Department will make one award in each Functional Area to the lowest responsive bid submitted by a responsible Bidder for that Functional Area. This RFP does not attempt to define/detail all the Contract needs, rather, it is flexible and allows for the credentials of the Offeror to be demonstrated in the areas of expertise necessary to support the real estate programs of the MAA. The services needed to satisfy the purpose of this RFP include, but are not limited to, those summarized below. These services will be performed consistent with FAA and COMAR requirements and associated MDOT procedures. - Ongoing Management of Property Holdings – to include assistance with property demolition plans, updating property holding databases, and coordination of property maintenance activities
- Periodic preparation and update of the BWI Marshall Noise Land Inventory & Reuse Plan in accordance with FAA Grant Assurance #31 and the Exhibit “A” Airport Property Map.
- Other Services – to include on-site staff support in MAA offices as may be necessary, preparation of metes-and-bounds surveys and associated plats, and appraisal services to determine the fair market values of properties near BWI Marshall and Martin State Airports.
