• FAMLI needs a strong brand identity that will raise awareness about the new system among Maryland workers and employers, especially ahead of the initial compliance deadlines (expected to be in July 2025) and benefits launch (expected to be in July 2026).
• The brand and marketing strategies will need to speak to a diverse set of stakeholders, including workers of all sectors and employers of all sizes.
• During the course of this contract, FAMLI will undergo exponential growth as the full system comes to fruition and the program will have a number of competing priorities. The branding and marketing need of FAMLI and the level of activity will fluctuate over time with the highest needs being ahead of the first compliance deadline (expected to be in July 2025) and when benefits are launched (expected to be in July 2026). Unforeseen needs and challenges are inevitable.
• The brand should help employers and workers alike easily identify the new system, understand its requirements, and get excited about its benefits. The benefits for workers are different than those for employers, and FAMLI needs a brand that can speak to both.
• The core messaging of the brand will need to evolve over time. In the initial phases of implementation, the brand will be leveraged to drive knowledge and compliance, especially amongst employers and workers who will see a payroll deduction. In the lead up to and after benefits launch, the brand will be used to raise awareness and encourage benefits applications. Additionally, messaging and creativity will need to be nimble enough to accommodate consistent changes to program designs and processes, as the system is being created.

Allegany College of Maryland is seeking a qualified executive search firm to assist in the solicitation and selection of a President for the College. The selected firm should be highly qualified in the field of executive recruitment, preferably at the national level. Interested and qualified firms are requested to provide sealed competitive proposals in accordance with the time frame, scope of services, and specifications as provided herein.

The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE or the "Department") is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) in order to obtain the services of an independent contractor to conduct a statewide recycling needs assessment and complete a report that will be submitted to the Governor and the General Assembly in Maryland.

The Town of Riverdale Park, Maryland (hereinafter “Town”) is requesting proposals from companies qualified to conduct business in the State of Maryland and Prince George’s County to plant approximately 150 trees in the public right-of-way in 2024 and maintain them for one year; provide ongoing Tree Maintenance Services for trees on Town-owned property and within the right-of-way, utilizing a tree management plan, and provide on-call services for emergency tree pruning and removal, for five years.

The Maryland Department of Labor would like to implement a hoteling system to manage an efficient hybrid workplace strategy for its employees. Maryland Department of Labor needs a system that can deliver real time actual utilization data to provide an organized, safe, and efficient workspace for its employees, the Maryland Department of Labor will transition its offices and employees to a hoteling work environment. Ideally, this method of managing office space (i.e., desks, offices, cubicles, conference rooms) will allow employees to seamlessly go between remote and in-person work environments. 

The infrastructure and security of the current website are being managed internally by STO but with the additions to the agency and subsequently the website, the agency does not have the resources or knowledge to support and maintain the website.  STO uses Microsoft D365 and Azure for various Microsoft services and has migrated this site over to WordPress and host it on Microsoft Azure with an intent to continually upgrade as well as add workflows to existing manual processes.

The purpose of this RFI is to learn more about cloud-based grant management systems that allow funders and awardees to manage grant awards and activities through the entire grant life cycle (from application to close-out). While one system managing the entire grant life cycle is preferred, the AOC is open to learning about systems that may manage only part of the grant lifecycle.

 An identified need to support MDOD’s current executive team is to conduct a leadership coaching program. There is an ongoing need to ensure that MDOD has a team of knowledgeable professionals leading the organization’s provision of services to the public. The availability of developmental coaching program for executive managers will provide them with an opportunity to refine existing skills or acquire new skills required to develop and lead a successful, effective agency.

Queen Anne’s County Economic & Tourism Development (QACETD) is soliciting proposals from qualified professional consultants to conduct an economic development analysis, lead stakeholder engagement, and develop a strategic action plan for the Queen Anne’s County Economic Development Commission (EDC). The successful candidate will use recommendations from relevant studies for reference, conduct a robust data analysis to inform strategies, conduct stakeholder engagement activities, evaluate the county’s capacity for additional growth, and deliver a five-year Economic Development Strategy for Queen Anne’s County. This plan will establish specific goals and objectives for growing and diversifying Queen Anne’s County’s economy over the target period, and a detailed action plan for how to achieve them
