The D.C. Chamber of Commerce is parting ways with President and CEO Vincent Orange.
The chamber’s board wrote in a statement that Orange will leave the chamber effective June 30, and staff and members of the chamber were informed of the change Tuesday. It marks the end of Orange’s roughly four-year tenure with the business advocacy organization, which has seen many of its financial fortunes decline in the last few years.
Angela Franco, a senior adviser to D.C.’s health insurance exchange and the former head of the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, will take over as the chamber’s interim president while the group searches for a permanent successor.
