Toys R Us will open its first outlet store in the D.C. region at Tanger Outlets at National Harbor, the retailer said Thursday.
The 3,000-square-foot store will include a dedicated Lego shop and plenty of “Star Wars,” Avengers and other superhero toys.
Toys R Us decided to open a permanent store at the outlet center after running a pop-up “express” store there since August 2015.
The store, 6800 Oxon Hill Road, will open April 29, and Toys R Us mascot Geoffrey the Giraffe will make an appearance for the grand opening.
