Prince George’s County Gears Up For Capital Bikeshare

Prince George’s County will launch the Capital Bikeshare program by spring 2018.

The Washington Post reports that the county will install four bike stations with 40 bikes at National Harbor and 25 stations with 250 bikes in the Anacostia Trails Heritage area at a cost of around $1.6 million.

The county plan calls for a total of 67 stations and 670 bikes to be phased in over the next few years, expanding to Greenbelt, College Park and Langley Park, among other areas.
