Wegmans-anchored Woodmore Towne Centre will soon be responsible for another Prince George’s County first: Nordstrom Rack.
The department store chain will open a 30,000-square-foot location of its discount outlet at the shopping center, which is home to the county’s first Wegmans grocery store, as part of the second phase of retail development there.
Developer Petrie Richardson Ventures and Prudential Real Estate Investors acquired 5 acres of land for the new retail from DR Horton, the residential developer of Woodmore Towne Centre. They declined to disclose the sale price. The town center is located at the Capital Beltway and Landover Road in Glenarden in the shadow of FedEx Field.
