MGM National Harbor, the $1.4 billion casino and hotel scheduled to open Dec. 8, released details about its features — including a chocolate fountain and art by Bob Dylan.
The Potomac River resort is emphasizing its meeting space that it hopes will make it a large draw for conferences.
MGM is marketing the property as a base for visitors touring the nation’s capital area. It says its 50,000 square feet of meeting space will accommodate up to 4,000 guests.
•A 16,200-square-foot space overlooking the river will be called the MGM Grand Ballroom.
•A smaller ballroom will be named after the Bellagio casino in Las Vegas.
•Three meeting rooms are named for the ARIA, Mandalay Bay and Beau Rivage casinos, and two boardrooms will be named after the Mirage.
