Bruno Mars, the R&B artist behind some of the decade’s most popular hits, will play MGM National Harbor on Dec. 27, making him one of the first artists to perform at the new casino.
The show may not be a one-time deal: The National Harbor show will launch a new “long-term” partnership between the singer and MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) that will involve shows (plural) at both MGM and Park Theater in Las Vegas, according to a release.
We’ve reached out to MGM about whether there will be subsequent Bruno Mars performances at National Harbor and will update this post when we hear back. Mars, whose most popular hit of the past few years was “Uptown Funk,” performed alongside Coldplay and Beyoncé at the Super Bowl in February.
