Chesapeake Real Estate Group Sells Pair Of New Prince George’s Industrial Buildings For $33M

Two newly developed Class A warehouse buildings in the Penn 95 Commerce Center in Upper Marlboro have been sold to investors for $33 million.

The sellers, a partnership of Chesapeake Real Estate Group LLC and principals from Thompson Creek Window Co., sold the industrial buildings that total close to 300,000 square feet.

Two newly constructed warehouses in the Penn 95 Commerce Center in Upper Marlboro were just purchased by a REIT for $33 million.

The buyer was Prudential Real Estate Investors.

The two buildings, one of 167,500 square feet and a build-to-suit 117,000-square-foot building that holds the manufacturing portion of the Thompson Creek company, are located off of the Capital Beltway and Maryland Route 4, also known as Pennsylvania Avenue. Thompson Creek has a long-term lease.

Construction of the buildings wrapped up this summer.
