Alsobrooks Has Another Big Fundraising Haul In Prince George’s

State’s Attorney Angela D. Alsobrooks (D) continues to fundraise at a brisk pace as she seeks to succeed term-limited incumbent Rushern L. Baker III (D) as Prince George’s County executive.

Already sitting on a million dollars as she entered the just-concluded reporting period, Alsobrooks added $296,239 in contributions over the last four months. She has spent $430,978, leaving her with $848,326 cash on hand through mid-May.

As of 10 a.m. on the day after the deadline for filing updated campaign finance reports, her main rivals for the Democratic nomination in the June 26 primary — former U.S. Rep. Donna F. Edwards and state Sen. C. Anthony Muse — had not done so.

The last time reports were due, in January, Muse had $84,146 cash on hand. Edwards had $81,667.
