The Prince George’s County Planning Board Thursday will consider plans for a 379-unit apartment project next to the Largo Town Center Metro station and a 95-unit condo project near National Harbor.
The planning staff recommended approval of both projects with conditions.
The Largo Town Center project, from Peter N.G. Schwartz Co., is branded as Amore Apollo. It is the second phase of the developer’s 20-acre project that includes the 424-unit Ascend Apollo, which delivered in 2016, and two future phases that have not yet been detailed.
The latest Phase 2 proposal calls for a six-story building with 379 residential units, smaller than the 422 units envisioned in the 2015 proposal that included both phases. The units would include 201 two-bedrooms, 113 one-bedrooms and 65 studios. The building’s amenities would include four outdoor courtyards and a swimming pool. The project would also feature 4,489 SF of retail.
